Explore More!

Come experience the Greater Reston Arts Center's
Learning Center for children

What is Explore More?
  • Explore More is a program designed for preschool and elementary school aged children. It includes suggested looking activities in the gallery and art projects that are age and developmentally appropriate for young audiences.
  • You begin by taking a specially prepared Gallery Guide that points out a few works in the exhibition that will focus your child's looking activities. The guide gives you the vocabulary to start talking about art with young children.
  • Then, you head back to the Learning Center and dig into your Art Bucket. Inside you will find art supplies and project suggestions based on your visit in the gallery.
  • You take your creations home as a visual reminder of the day's exploration.
