pARTy at GRACE: Have your birthday with us!

GRACE pARTies are now available to our members at the Family Level!

Schedule your birthday pARTy with us during gallery hours: Tuesday -- Saturday from 11 - 5pm.

Your pARTy will feature a 90 minute art making project with teacher, JJ Blum and includes time for celebratory refreshment (cake).

  • The party will take place at the tables in our Explore More! area of the gallery.
  • Minimum of 10 kids (children 6 and above) and a maximum of 15 children.
  • Charge of $15 for each child, except the birthday child who is free!
  • Set up & Clean up fee of $30

  • You can choose from four art making projects: Earth Art; Princesses, Knights & Dragons*; Mermaids & Pirates*; and Go Wild!

  • Additional materials fee of $2 per child would apply to the * projects.

    • General Gallery Rules:

    • One or more parent(s) must stay for duration of the party.
    • No food is allowed in the gallery; however you may bring in a sheet cake and/or cupcakes and juice boxes the day of your party that would remain in the Explore More area.
    • No hanging decorations are permitted however you can bring your own party napkins, table cloths, paper plates, utensils and weighted balloons.

    Project Descriptions

    Earth Art

    The party will spotlight areas of the earth to care for such as rivers and forests. Stories, poems and art projects will reflect our thoughts on how we can care for the earth! Children will create a "green" book from recycled materials to take home.

    Mermaid and Pirate Aaaaart!

    Ahoy Mateys! Sail the seven seas with pirates on the lookout for mermaids, magical sea creatures and hidden treasure. You will leave having created swash-buckling art projects to boot!

    Princesses, Knights and Dragons!

    Step back in time and hear stories of brave princesses and clever knights. We will create costumes, masks and a coat of arms to help transport these young artists to the time of King Arthur!

    Go Wild!

    Animals have been the heroes in countless folktales! Listen to stories old and new celebrating the furry, funny and fantastic adventures of animals! We'll create art inspired by our favorite animal friends.
